  1. Price too high for quality of game

Dialogue is cheesy. Trying to add live people to an animated game makes the game look poorly done. Kinda glitchy with the finding of objects not in hog mode. Altogether looks ok but the price is way too high. I would wait to purchase this game until it hits a heavy sale. You will not be missing much. Artiflex mundi is producing games too quickly, the quality of their games are much lower than they used to be.

Usually love these games and buy everyone by this company, it wont let me do anything after i get to the house! Pressed hint button and it keeps pointing at the diary and map! Very disappointed and upset i spent 4 dollars on this game! So now im trying to restart the game to see if it does it again! I want a refund!!!

Liked the game don't like the story how u have real ppl in it. Made it cheesy
  4. Good game but I initially had a frustrating issue. The bird never appeared atop the old man's house; the ladder would not a fix to the chimney. The hints were aimlessly directing me to the journal. Once I restarted the game using a new name, it played flawlessly, without any further technical issues. Now, about the game:

It has the usual dark storyline for the HO genre, which I enjoy. Beautiful graphics. Music was a bit annoying- had to turn off. Has a good # of HOS, a variety of mini games (a few challenging). Has an interactive map, but it only teleports to the beginning of each scene, rather than every area in that scene; I actually enjoyed the change. Bonus chapter was very short & lacking. However, the overall length & material of the main game was satisfactory. All in all, another fine game released by Artifex Mundi.

I liked this game, however, that being said, it was not one of my favorites put out by Artifex Mundi. The storyline is difficult to follow, and I'm not always sure of my objective. It is also not as graphically beautiful as most of the other games I love. Even with that, it is still a lot better than most of this type of game put out by other companies. So, it was good, but definitely not up to par with others of this nature by artifex mundi. If you're looking for a good story and beautiful scenery, skip this one, but if you're looking for an interesting way to spend an afternoon, it's worth it.

  10. Dark Heritage by "World Loom".

Published by Artifex Mundi but made by World Loom, a Warsaw based company whose goal is "...to create amazing tales, beautiful art and deliver great fun to our players". They've given us (with Eipix) Mind Snares and the Off the Record series (including Linden Shade, Liberty Stone, etc.) and (with Nitreal) Set Sail. This game plays well, it's a nifty story richly rendered. There's a teleportation task map though scenes are grouped, and good achievements. I'm not too far in but haven't seen any morphs or collectibles. For me it's worth the purchase price and is enjoyable (though I had to ditch the music pretty quickly). I wonder where the story's going to go from here ?!?

Tested the game nice upgrade to the cut scene video but can improve further on the cgi effect.
